The Illuminations are held in Walsall Arboretum, at the junction of A461 Lichfield Street and A4148 Broadway North - just outside Walsall town centre.

By Car
The event is AA signposted from all major routes into Walsall including M6 junctions 7, 9 & 10 and A5 / A461 Muckley Corner roundabout, just outside Lichfield.

Important Update about Walsall Ring Road Works
The road works that have been taking place in the immediate vicinity of Walsall Arboretum for the last two years will be completed before this years Illuminations open and we hope that you will find access much easier and quicker than last year.

Parking

Cars: several car parks are located in and around Walsall town centre (see map below), but for easiest parking we recommend that you use our Park & Ride service from Broadway North (postcode WS1 2QB). See details below.

Parking for disabled visitors: for Orange/Blue badge holders is located in Ward Street, opposite the cash gate entrance to the Illuminations.

Coach parking: is reserved at the Park & Ride car park on Broadway North.

We would respectfully ask all visitors to use the designated car parks and not to park in residential streets around the Arboretum.

By Bus
Walsall Illuminations is a short walk from Walsall town centre, which is well served by local buses. Buses 362, 394 and 396 go from Walsall bus station directly past the Arboretum. Click here to visit the Network West Midlands website for further information.

By Rail
Walsall Station is located in Walsall town centre - a ten minute walk from the Illuminations. Direct rail services operate to Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Cannock. Park and Ride
Take the hassle out of parking and use our fast and efficient Park & Ride service, run in conjunction with Travel West Midlands. Based ½ mile from the Illuminations, on the Broadway North ring road (postcode WS1 2QB), the Park & Ride is fully signposted from all major routes into Walsall.

Park your car here, then hop on a double-decker bus, which drops you off outside the Advance Ticket Holders gate - a much speedier entry into the event. After your trip around the lights, take a return bus back to the Park & Ride car park.

You can buy combined Illuminations / Park & Ride tickets from the sales office at the car park entrance, or buy them in advance from any of our ticket outlets. This is especially recommended if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night or during half-term.

The Park & Ride ticket office opens 30 minutes before the Illuminations advertised opening time.
